My name is Funmi Johnson and I am the founder of Fumz Fitness. Fumz Fitness was born from a desire to share my passion for fitness which I developed from an incredible weight loss journey during the 2020 Covid 19 Lockdown.
I began Fitness in August 2020, I weighed 90kg and decided it was time to make a change. I was fed up of feeling insecure, self-conscious about what people thought of my size and assumed every one thought I was Fat even if they were not cruel enough to say it.
I followed Courtney Black‘s training program of a non-restrictive diet whilst being in a Calorie Deficit and exercising 5/6 days a week. It was tough at first but giving up was never an option.
My Fitness Levels improved, I felt healthier and happier and I wanted to keep my self accountable and inspire others so I created my fitness journey online diary on Instagram: @fumzfitness & that has brought me to where I am today.
My Weight Loss has inspired people of all different age ranges and fitness levels and I want to continue to do that.
